Dear All Memebers,

Can you please help as Im a bit confused????

I have received a large pack from the DWP. I sent my appeal in via help from the CAB.

It says that the appeal submission has been sent to the Tribunals Service, and that they will get in touch.

What happens next as it doesnt say on the form???

Do I just wait to hear from the Tribunal Service now???

Thanks Michelle. Confused

But the upside is that when you finally get the benefit, it is back-dated to when you first applied BigGrin

Hi Michelle .
Sorry to hear you are having to appeal .

There is a great Community Legal Service leaflet for the DLA appeal process on the link below (if i can work out how to do it . )
It is even worth using for ESA appeals to a degree :)
Might also be worth contacting your CAB again to see if they can do a submission for you prior to any appeal date(They should have warned you that this was the next step . But definitely read through the paperwork to see if there are any errors in it , or things that you disagree with .

CLS DLA APPEAL LEAFLET

Again this is recommended reading for anyone who needs to know an outline of the appeals procedure and whet to expect .

All the best and hope this helps

Rich :)
